Sheltered from the wind
At the foot of the village of Giens lies the port of Niel, a charming setting sheltered from the wind and prying eyes, where rare traditional fishing boats are still used to this day. Every year on Saint Peter's Day, the blessing on these small, colourful boats is renewed. In addition to its heavenly beaches, the Giens Peninsula has many places and stories to be discovered year round.
